Hi, my name is Tori and I love diving. I've been teaching diving since 2013, and now teach for three different agencies, from entry to instructor training, as well as technical diving. I also am a service tech, a hydrostatic tester, and a boat captain. Most of the time I've worked in the cold waters of Canada's west coast, although I've also taught in Mexico, Thailand, and Australia. Having such a diverse amount of training and experience has really shown me that there is so much more to scuba than any one course or agency can teach. This is how How Scuba Works was born. It's not just about courses; it's about learning the specific skills YOU want or need.
I'd love to make you a better diver by offering scuba coaching, sharing topics that aren't normally covered in courses, expanding on those that are, show you neat tips and tricks I've picked up along the way, as well as share product and dive reviews that aren't biased by a shop trying to sell. I hope you all enjoy How Scuba Works!

Scuba Coaching
The problem with most dive courses these days is while the intention is good, logistics, scheduling and money end up cutting down on quality education. Instead of building YOU as a diver, they instead focus on checking the boxes and hitting minimum requirements. I aim to change that.
I want to make you a better diver. Whatever your underwater goals are, I'm here to get you there.
Whether you want to take a specific course, improve your diving or reach a certain goal, I can help you get there. Lets have a chat about how to get you where you want to be.
